Esterra Development Unveils Its Upscale Bell Mar Plaza at Special Open House
Tuesday, February 05, 2008
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Feb. 5, 2008) – Esterra Development, a commercial land acquisition and real estate
development company, today announced that it will host a special open house on Tuesday, Feb. 12 to
introduce its new mixed-use Bell Mar project to tenant brokers, community leaders and media
representatives. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the West Valley Art Museum located at
17420 North Avenue of the Arts in Surprise, Arizona, one block away from the company’s flagship 72,500-
square foot property at 13140 W. Bell Rd. near the Loop 101.
“This open house is our first opportunity to showcase Bell Mar and all of its progress to the public and
prospective tenant community,” said Gary Arnold, Esterra Development founder and president. “Bell
Mar will be a distinctive and memorable landmark property, and its presence in the Surprise community will create a variety of new retail and dining opportunities for the city’s growing
population.”
Esterra Development (www.esterradevelopment.com) broke ground on Bell Mar in February 2007
and is scheduled to open the property, which will include a variety of boutique local and national retail
stores, casual and formal dining venues and professional office spaces, in fall 2008. Archicon Architects designed the property and it is being constructed by Simmons Construction LLC.
During open house, presentations at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. by Arnold will outline Bell Mar’s
vision and construction timeline and illustrate the amenities and unique design features that will characterize the project. Shuttles will take guests to the Bell Mar site for guided tours throughout the event. A networking luncheon will follow the presentations, and all attendees will be entered into a
drawing for several prizes, including a chance to win an iPhone.
“Bell Mar brings some much needed commercial and professional office space to the east side of
Surprise. It will really anchor the Bell Road gateway into the city with an upscale consumer destination,” said John Hagen, Economic Development Director for the City of Surprise. “With nearly 70,000 vehicles per day traveling past the Bell Mar site, it is positioned to be a signature location on one of the highest trafficked arterial roadways in Arizona.”
Esterra Development has two other real estate development projects underway - The Luxian Scottsdale, a high-end shared equity resort ownership gated enclave in the Camelback Corridor, and Aero Gateway, a commercial development located in Mesa, Ariz. near the newly-expanded Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
