Esterra Development's Bell Mar Property To Engage Visitors With One-Of-A-Kind Water Fountain As its Centerpiece

Esterra Development, a commercial land acquisition and real estate development company, today announced that Bell Mar, its flagship 72,500-square foot mixed-use property in Surprise, Ariz., will feature a unique, custom-designed water fountain complemented by music and lighting as a centerpiece at its entrance when it opens this fall. The project, located at 11340 W. Bell Rd. near Loop 101, will feature a variety of retail stores, dining venues and professional office spaces and be the first commercial property in the Southwestern United States to have a fountain with this type of water display technology.

The Bell Mar fountain will be characterized by a modern circular multi-tiered, zero-edge pool design, measuring 40-feet long by 35-feet in diameter, that incorporates stainless steel spillways. An adjacent lower pool will have a center nozzle display that is in continuous operation. Surrounding the pool will be 20 jet streams of water, which will dance with color to form a dazzling,radiant setting. A giant 50-foot tall sailing mast will rise above the fountain, as it serves as an alluring gathering place for tenants, employees, customers and visitors to Surprise.

The water display is being designed and installed by Aquatec Fountains (www.aquatecfountains.com), a Phoenix company that specializes in custom design and installation of commercial and residential water features. Oase, a company based in Germany that has also been contracted to construct the water feature at the Beijing Olympics, developed the unique technology for the water jets. The blending of the music and light with the dancing water forms will provide feature shows for observers throughout the day.

Bell Mar, which broke ground in February 2007, will usher in a new standard in commercial and professional office space at the eastern entry point of Surprise with its dynamic mix of retail and restaurant tenants. With more that 70,000 vehicles per day traveling past the Bell Mar site, it is considered one of the highest trafficked arterial roadways in Arizona. Archicon Architects designed the project and it is being constructed by Simmons Construction LLC. TAG Commercial LLC is the tenant broker and marketing agent for the plaza.
